In the pursuit of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), One such course is Religion and Gender, which delves into the complex relationships between religious beliefs and gender roles.

 

In the realm of technology, the Early Childhood Information Communication Technology (ICT) course plays a vital role in fostering digital literacy from an early age. By promoting equal access to technology among young children, this course indirectly supports gender equality, ensuring that boys and girls alike are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital world. The course on Gender and Family Sociology provides a deeper understanding of the roles gender plays within family structures.

 

 

Finally, Gender and Social Justice equips students with the tools to critically analyze the intersection of gender inequalities and social justice issues.

 

Nursery rooms are thoughtfully provided at several locations across the campus to support the needs of nursing mothers and their infants. These rooms are equipped with comfortable and essential facilities to ensure a convenient and private space for mothers. Each nursery room includes a baby bench for diaper changes, a cozy sofa for nursing, a refrigerator to store breast milk, and a bottle sterilizer for maintaining hygiene.

Description :

The lactation rooms (lactatoriums) are strategically located at four key spots across different working units of the campus. These rooms provide a comfortable, private, and clean environment for mothers to breastfeed or express milk. The lactation rooms are available in the following faculties:

Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training
Faculty of Islamic Economy and Business
Faculty of Sharia
Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies
 

The lactation rooms are equipped with essential amenities to ensure the comfort and privacy of users. As seen in the image, these facilities include:

A comfortable seating area,
A changing station for babies,
Storage space for personal items,
A sink for hygiene purposes, and

 

Air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature.

The Women’s Leadership Seminar held by UIN Raden Intan Lampung in collaboration with Manara-id reflects a strong commitment to advancing gender equality, which aligns with the goals of Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5). This initiative focuses on empowering women, preventing sexual violence, and promoting female leadership, all of which are crucial components of SDG 5.

The inauguration of Day Care Raden Intan by Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) at the campus directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), which focuses on achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls.

 

 

This initiative provides essential support to working parents, especially women, by offering a safe and reliable environment for their young children. It aligns with Target 5.4 of SDG 5, which calls for the recognition and value of unpaid care and domestic work. By offering a day care center, UIN Raden Intan is helping to reduce the burden of child care on parents, particularly female employees, who often bear the majority of caregiving responsibilities.

UIN Raden Intan Lampung’s Policy on Responsive Gender and Social Inclusivity emphasizes equal access, support for social inclusion, and anti-discrimination measures across campus, reflecting its commitment to a safe, inclusive academic environment aligned with national directives and the university’s 2035 vision.
