One such course is Recycling Technology, which provides students with in-depth knowledge about recycling processes, technologies, and their applications in waste management and resource conservation. This course not only promotes environmental sustainability but also supports the creation of decent jobs in the recycling industry, contributing to a circular economy.
Another course, Sustainable Tourism Management, equips students with the skills to design and manage tourism activities that are both environmentally friendly and socially responsible. The Bioedupreneurship course encourages students to bridge the gap between biology and entrepreneurship. The Raden Intan Festival 2023, themed “Show Your Creativity to be a Future Entrepreneur,” aligns strongly with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering entrepreneurship and promoting the development of students into skilled entrepreneurs. Through various activities such as the Raden Intan Preneur Award, Business Plan Competition, and workshops on topics like branding, product marketing, and financial management, the festival contributes to creating decent work opportunities by equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to start and grow businesses.
