Several courses offered by Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung are aligned with SDG 9, which focuses on industry, innovation, and infrastructure. The Smart Campus Management course empowers students to design and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance campus operations. Another course, Information Systems Project Management, equips students with essential project management skills needed to develop and manage robust technological infrastructures. By focusing on efficient system implementation and management, this course plays a vital role in promoting industry and innovation. Additionally, the Green Computing course teaches students environmentally responsible practices within information technology, emphasizing energy-efficient and eco-friendly computing solutions. These courses collectively contribute to the goals of SDG 9 by promoting sustainable industrial growth and technological advancement. Moreover, the Data Communication Network course focuses on building and managing efficient and reliable communication networks, fostering technological advancements and infrastructure development. This directly supports SDG 9 by enabling improvements in connectivity and urban infrastructure. Another relevant course is Information Systems Security, which equips students with knowledge in cybersecurity, ensuring secure and trustworthy digital ecosystems. This is crucial for fostering innovation and maintaining secure infrastructure, both of which are central to SDG 9. Collectively, these courses contribute significantly to promoting sustainable industrial growth, technological innovation, and robust infrastructure development.

The Smart Building Implementation at Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung demonstrates the university’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure through the integration of smart features, including automation, safety, energy efficiency, water management, and optimized indoor environments. This initiative has been applied to a significant portion of the campus, with 62.95% of the total building area . By adopting these technologies, the university enhances operational efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and promotes environmental sustainability.

This project highlights an innovative approach to addressing the global issue of plastic waste by utilizing starch from palm oil fronds to create edible straws. Through the development of this eco-friendly product, the project not only promotes innovation in materials but also supports sustainable industrial practices. The use of palm frond byproducts helps reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste and adds value to agricultural outputs, potentially driving economic opportunities within the palm oil industry.
